Dear Brothers and Sisters,
After weeks, days, and hours of extensive, painstaking talks and hard work from your Local 1069 Bargaining Team, we have tentatively reached an agreement with The Boeing Company. This agreement is The Company’s last, best, and final offer short of your Leadership Team sanctioning a work stoppage end of day Sunday, October 16, 2022. This process was difficult and exhaustive. We feel this “tentative” agreement is reasonable and will potentially meet the needs of ALL Sisters and Brothers for the duration of this contract. Our wages, medical plans, and 401(K) plan continues to be number one in our industry.
Full details (agreement and highlight summary) will be posted on our website (uawlocal1069.org) in conjunction with The Company’s website (www.boeing.com/local1069). Our members will have full access to this entire contract which will be posted sometime this evening on both sites.
Our ratification meeting will be held this coming Sunday, October 16, 2022, at 10:00 AM @ The Clarion Hotel (former Ramada Hotel) 76 Industrial Hwy. Essington Pa, 19029. Your Bargaining Team will be on hand to answer all questions related to this agreement. Please review thoroughly the full agreement and summary prior to attending this meeting on Sunday.
You decide. The decision is yours to make. We will stand behind our membership as you have stood behind us.
We will have on hand our sign language interpreter for our UAW Local 1069 Deaf Community. Also, if possible, plan to carpool to help with parking and traffic issues.
Your Union Membership Card will be needed to attend and vote. Please assure you have these cards or obtain a card from your Stewards or at the hall.
