Brothers and Sisters,

First, we would like to thank our local politicians, Senator Bob Casey (PA), Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon (PA), Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ) and Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan (PA) along with dozens of other senators and congress members for all their hard work and dedication to the UAW Local 1069 membership. In the last few months, they have been working hard on securing Ridley Park with CH-47 block II long term funding. We look forward to continuing our work with our local representatives.

At Sunday’s general membership meeting nominations were held for President, Vice President, North Side Committeeman, South Side Committeeman and Member-at-Large. Elections for all positions will be held at the Hall on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. The polls will be open at 5 AM and close at 6 PM.

Due to the recent passing of the MOA, we had to rezone 13 of the 16 Shop Stewards areas. Effected zones are posted on all UAW Local 1069 boards throughout the plant. Nominations for all 13 zones will be February 14th & 15th at the Hall from 8 AM to 4 PM. Elections for Shop Stewards will be held February 21st, 22nd and 23rd. Dates and times for all zones are to be determined.
