Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Update on the International Executive Board Elections:
Ballots for the “UAW International Officer Run-Off Election” will be mailed out to all UAW members beginning January 12, 2023. Ballots must be received by our International on or before February 28, 2023. The counting of votes will begin on March 1, 2023. If you believe that the Union Hall does not have your current mailing address, please see your Shop Steward or Committee person to have this information updated.

UAW Local 1069 members must show solidarity by casting their votes in this run-off election. With almost 1200 eligible voting members, you can make a difference in keeping UAW Local 1069 the strongest local in Region 9.

Given that International rules have changed, it is our duty as a membership that ALL 1200 members show strength using the “one person, one vote” format.

Should any candidate or observer claim that a member eligible to receive a ballot has been omitted from the list, such person shall be sent a ballot if such claim is made no later than February 15, 2023. Similarly, any member requesting a ballot via the Monitor or Election Vendor will be sent one if such request is made no later than February 15, 2023. Members may request a ballot starting on January 19, 2023, by completing the form on https://uawvote.com or by calling 855-433-8683.
Stay United and Stay UAW Local 1069 Strong
Reminder, our monthly membership meeting will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Hall. Please plan to attend.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Congratulations and best of luck to all Brothers and Sisters who will be leaving us on December 22, 2022. We appreciate all that you have done for this Company, especially your dedication to UAW Local 1069. Anyone wishing to have a retirement picture taken with co-workers, please see one of your Union Representatives to schedule a photo. We will select dates and times towards the middle of December.

Also, on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, we will host two seminars down at our Union Hall (11:00 AM and 1:00 PM). We will have in attendance Legal Representatives from the Law Firm of Pond Lehocky. They represent clients seeking Workers’ Compensation, Social Security Disability / Long Term Disability, along with many other legal needs. Also in attendance will be Lyndsey Berry, Financial Advisor from Ameriprise Financial. These folks will be able to answer all questions and address concerns relating to these topics. Your spouse/domestic partner is welcome to attend. Please call ahead (610-876-6217) to inform us of your intent to attend one of these meetings, we need to get an approximate head count.

Lastly, all employees who have been approved for The Boeing Company Voluntary Layoff Benefits Program should have received a “General Release and Waiver Agreement.” Please read over thoroughly prior to signing.
