Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The company has published one new internal job notification on “Between the Blades” for any UAW Local 1069 employees wishing to apply. As of now, employees will not receive notifications for job openings through their “Careers @ Boeing” profile due to the transition from Total Access to Worklife. These issues are presently being addressed by the Company so that employees will be able to receive notifications in the near future. The current job opening is:
35A06; Maintenance Worker, Req. # 138495, 1st shift. This job requisition will expire on Friday, September 13, 2019.
At this time, we anticipate Composite Fabricator and Material Support job postings soon. Please look for these postings in the very near future.

Employees needing further assistance can contact the company’s “Hypercare” team. Cindy Weaver who works out of 3-04 Bld. and Yolanda Jefferson who works from 3-92 Bld. can personally assist our members. This assistance from these representatives is only available for a short time.
Also, there are approximately 22 active UAW Local 1069 employees who do not have a Boeing email account or have had their email account deactivated. We highly encourage all brothers and sisters to utilize their email accounts for many reasons, especially to receive notifications for internal job postings you may be interested in. Any employee who does not receive “Between the Blades” in their email account contact Patricia Gingrich at: patricia.gingrich@boeing.com. This is how the company will be notifying members of any internal job openings.
Lastly, please note we will resume our General Membership meetings beginning Sunday, September 25, 2019. We encourage all Local 1069 members to attend, especially our new hires. We are certain our brothers and sisters have much to discuss.
