Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Congratulations and “a job well done” to our UAW Local 1069 members and support teams in CCoE (building 3-07) for their hard work on the development and fabrication of the Advance Composite Rotor Blade (ACRB). We have been informed by the Boeing Company we will continue to build these blades at the Ridley Park facility. This work was in jeopardy of leaving our factory and going to the Boeing site in Mesa, Az. Once again, we have proved our capabilities and rightfully earned this work statement. We are very confident our members along with our support teams will continue to demonstrate to the Boeing Enterprise they made the right choice.
In addition, recognition goes out to our 1069 members along with all support personnel in the Dynamics Center (transmission shop, bld. 3-12) for their tremendous help with the transformation of their building. The 4.5 million investment made by the company on modernizing the H-47 center has already paid dividends by winning the Boeing Sikorsky Aircraft Support (BSAS) contract for all H-47 dynamics overhaul work in 2019-2020. This work will help retain critical skills through the period between the finish of Multi-year II aircraft and follow-on Block II contracts.
The Boeing Leadership Association (BLA) now welcomes UAW Local 1069 members. Our sisters and brothers can now join and take advantage of many discount programs offered such as trips, shows, sporting events, dinners, and many more activities. Any member wishing to join can contact Tom Jablonski for more info and details @: Thomas.j.jablonski@boeing.com or 610-580-7237.
Our Women’s Committee is looking for volunteers, men and women, to help with the great work they have been performing over the past few years. They have been assisting our brothers and sisters in times of hardships and also with wonderful causes in our communities. Any employee wishing to join this great committee please contact Karla Hold @ 484-469-1745.
Reminder: Our general membership meeting will resume this Sunday, 9/23 @ 10:00 AM. Please plan to attend. I know many of you are excited to be there. I’m certain you have many questions and concerns to discuss.

In Solidarity,
