January 18, 2017
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I apologize for the delay with getting this Chopper out to our members.
The effective date of the COLA was January 13 2017. The current quarterly adjustment for this unit is $0.03. The current maximum COLA amount for this unit is $0.06.
Thanks to all of our hard work in the plant, our UAW Local 1069 Brothers and Sisters will receive a 13-day pay-out earned for our PPIP (Philadelphia Performance Incentive Plan) for the 2016 year. This will be paid out on February 16, 2017. Great job at all!
As a reminder, we do have a General Membership meeting Sunday, January 22 2017 at 10am. I encourage all Brothers and Sisters to please attend. We will have important topics to discuss and I am confident our members have significant concerns that need be addressed.
Your leadership stands ready to serve this membership in whatever situations arise in our interaction with the Company, to the benefit of all.
Reminder: Quality first, request an inspector!
Yours in solidarity,
Mike Tolassi, President
UAW Local 1069
