Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The Community Service Committee along with other volunteers participated in our annual Thanksgiving Holiday canned food drive on Thursday, November 16th, and Friday, November 17th. A total of $4,335.00 was collected. Thank you to all the employees who donated generously. The canned food that was collected was donated to a local food bank. The money will be turned into supermarket gift cards, which will be given to our Brothers and Sisters who are out on an extended medical leave of absence.
On Saturday, December 9, 2023, the Community Service Committee, along with the Women’s Committee will be holding their annual UAW Local 1069 Toy Drive. It will be from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Please plan to attend and bring a new unwrapped toy. There will be pictures with Santa, Crafts and other activities, lunch, and goodie bags for the kids. If you’re unable to attend and would like to donate toys, you can give them to any of your Union Representatives, or any member of the Women’s or Community Service Committee. You can also drop them off at the union hall or bring them to the next General Membership Meeting.
This year the toys that are collected will be donated to Team Cameron at Dupont Children’s Hospital, Wesley House, and domestic abuse shelters.

Reminder: General Membership meeting this Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 10:00. All are encouraged to attend.
