Dear Brothers and Sisters,

This message is to inform you your UAW Leadership has rejected the company’s proposal on their “9/80”, non-standard workweek.

There has been much debate among your leaders, many unknowns regarding the future of a non-standard workweek, and many concerns amongst our “rank and file”.

We honestly feel that halfway into our current CBA, this is not the right time to open up our contract and implement their proposed schedule change.

We wish to thank our members for their concerns and input over this past week.

Continue to Stand United

In Solidarity,
Michael A Tolassi
UAW, Local 1069 President
